Diesel Fuel Filtration

We recommend two tanks (1 and 2) of approximately similar sizes with manifolds for fuel feed and for fuel return.

When both tanks have less fuel than the smaller of the two tanks, then pump all the fuel from one tank, through a fuel filter, to the other tank.    Repeat the process so all fuel is now transferred again.    All of the fuel on board is not filtered (polished)

This is much faster and more efficient than polishing fuel back to the same tank which can take as much as a day to clean.    

We recommend Racor Fuel filters sized by fuel flow.   Dual Filters are essential for being able to continue operating if one fuel filter gets plugged.

We always recommend pass through WALBRO fuel pumps for instant bleeding of the fuel system.
